The theme of the event is ” हरियाली बढाऔँ, वातावरण जोगाऔँ जति सक्छौँ , त्यति बढी बिरुवा रोपौँ ” . The event Chair of the program was the President of the Rotary Club of New Road City, Kathmandu, Rtn. Ramila Shrestha.

Description

Introduction: 
This event was held on 16 July 2022 by the Rotary Club Of New Road City, Kathmandu. There were more than 60 participants including Interactors, Rotractors, Rotarians, and Local club representatives. This program was service oriented program and done to raise awareness and encourage afforestation in the small village of Lalitpur district. The theme of the event is ” हरियाली बढाऔँ, वातावरण जोगाऔँ जति सक्छौँ , त्यति बढी बिरुवा रोपौँ ” . The event Chair of the program was the President of the Rotary Club of New Road City, Kathmandu, Rtn. Ramila Shrestha.  


Objectives:
To raise awareness about how deforestation is hampering our lives and we are not doing daily practice about afforestation to maintain our environment. This event was organized to enhance the knowledge of local people about the quality of air which we are consuming day by day. 

Project summary:
We met at Nepal Eye Hospital, Tripureshwor at 7:45 Am. We were given a briefing by Rtn. Prakash Shrestha who is Secretary of Rotary Club Of New Road City, Kathmandu, about the event and the schedule of the event. We started the bus journey to Lele, Manakamana at 8:30 AM. We reached our destination and had our breakfast there. Then small greeting program was run by the IPP of RCNRCK Nilkantha sir. After 30 minutes of the program, we started planting different types of plants i.e Fruits, Flowers. Rotarians, Rotaractors, and Interactors participated and planted 150 plants. The plantation program was jointly organized by the Rotary Club Of New Road City, Kathmandu, Innerwheel Club of New Road City, Kathmandu, Rotaract Club of New Road City, Kathmandu, and Us. The tree plantation program was chaired by Rtn. Ramila Shrestha and Chief Guest were Chairman of Godawari Ward No. 5. After program we retuned at same place at 5:30 PM. 

Conclusion: The event was a success and the local people were very supportive of our initiative although there were problems like rain and the way we arrived is too rough.

I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations to Itr. Itr. Beepin Subedi and the entire team on the successful completion of a remarkable year filled with the power of selfdiscovery and exploration.

In harmony with Rotary International President Rtn. Gordon R. McInally’s theme of ‘CreateHope in the World’ and Interact District’s theme ‘Interact For Impact’, I am filled with optimismto have seen dedicated leaders embark on the noble path of service, creating a milestone impact. Every single Rotarian, Rotaractor, and Interactor is to be equally thanked and praised for how far the interact movement has come. By embracing opportunities, leading by example, and fostering fellowship, I am confident that the Interact movement has flourished magnificently, serving as a source of inspiration and cherished lifelong experiences.

The accomplishments of District 3292 in the past years have been truly inspiring and noteworthy. Through impactful service projects and active involvement, District 3292 consistently strives to make a positive difference, setting a remarkable example of what Interact stands for. Looking ahead, I firmly believe that Interact District 3292 and the entire Interact movement will continue to prosper and have profound significance.

This year, I am sure to see the same enthusiasm and leadership and its impact on the entire Interact movement. I strongly encourage all the Interactors to wholeheartedly embrace the new challenges and opportunities that await them with an open mind and a positive outlook. I urge Interact clubs to continue their tradition of excellence and strive for an even greater impact.
