Description
Introduction:
Project “शुभ -आरम्भ” was the 1-day event held in Shrijanshil Bal Ashram, which was done in collaboration with 10 different clubs in Zone 6 on the occasion of Interact Week and Interact Day. In this event, we distributed the indoor games that would nurture creativity while having fun.
Objectives:
The objective of the event was to make indoor creative games accessible to the orphan children and foster fellowship among the interactors within the zone.
Project Summary:
Children were already waiting for us when we arrived at the location at 1:30 PM. It took us some time to locate the venue as it was challenging to find. We asked the interactors to engage in child-centered activities as soon as they arrived, and we then asked them to introduce themselves. Following the introduction, we went on to the donation phase, where we gave away indoor board games. There were donations of games including Scrabble, Ludo, Chess, and Zenga.
In fact, we didn’t only give them the indoor games; we also showed them how to play. Interactors from each of the ten clubs took an active part and offered to teach the kids new things. In celebration of Interact Day, we also cut the cake. We also engaged in a variety of games during the event.
Conclusion: The event was successful, as we achieved what we were aiming for. The kids were very happy, and we interacted with different interactors from different interact clubs. At the end of the day, the kids could play games like chess, ludo, scrabble, and many more.
