Aahana by Interact Club of Little Angels’ School

Introduction: 
The event kicked off with a cordial introduction of 11 volunteers to the staff and caretakers of Voice of Children Home, an orphanage that provides shelter to 60 boys in Lalitpur. Volunteers did sign a paper to ensure the ethical guidelines as well as media guidelines that protected children inside the institution.

The volunteers engaged the children in a range of activities, starting with singing and dancing that brought cheerful grins to the children’s visages. The volunteers handed out scrumptious chocolates, which the children enjoyed immensely. 

The most exciting activity of the event was the painting session, where the children painted their hands and imprinted them on chart paper, generating stunning artwork. The children were ecstatic to observe their creations come to life, and the volunteers were thrilled by the children’s inventiveness. To enhance the festive ambiance, the volunteers distributed balloons, which the children played with delight. The event was a massive triumph as it furnished an opportunity for the volunteers to interact with the children, spread happiness, and cultivate memories that will endure a lifetime.

Conclusion:
Overall, the volunteering event at the orphanage was a huge success. The volunteers were able to make a positive impact on the lives of the children, and the children had a great time interacting with the volunteers.
