Old age is an amazing place for people especially youth to learn empathy and understand life. Event Aama started with the concept of how youths make such old age homes a place to express their sympathy to anyone and film it for personal profit. In Event Aama we wanted to execute a brief talking session with people in Old age homes because we genuinely wanted to listen to their stories and make them feel like they were the center of attention to boost their confidence while socializing with the younger audience which they are not used to seeing around

Description
Introduction:
A small act of kindness for all the people who have been living in the society and making it meaningful for ages but because of circumstances they were abandoned. Such moments can be distressing and socialization can help. We at Interact Club of Little Angels’ did a brief session of discussion and helped them lift their mood from their daily schedule.
Objectives:
1. To shine light on the stories of the aging population
2. To be able to learn from them
3. To be able to help the people not by showing sympathy but actually being able to help and cooperate with the people there
Project summary:
Aama: day one of the social week, an event merely based on the wish of BODs to be able to help the people as much as we could. It was actually a vent of thought of being done separately but due to certain circumstances, we thought it would be the perfect idea for this event to be included in the social week- a week-long series of social services.
This event started around 9:30 a.m. but, before this we needed to but some essential gifts for the old age home which would actually be in work and not just be decor. So, we bought them some portions of ration. The few things we got them were Oil, Sugar, Salt, Beaten rice, Horlicks etc,.We started after we went there, we were really shy at first but our Logistics Head managed to break the ice and all of us initially got to talking. We spent so much time talking that we couldn’t keep track of time. The chit-chat went on and on so when we checked the clock it was the closing time.
So we gave the Certificate of Appreciation to one of the caretakers who worked during the whole time when we were there. We clicked some photos and then, the bidding farewell was honestly sad but we were
Conclusion:
The event was a great success and we learned so much from old women. We were honored that we could do so much for so many people just by being a bit cooperative towards such acts.
