Project Aastha is a charity event initiated by the Interact Club of YALA. The interactors of the Interact Club of YALA went to an orphanage, SCIF Nepal located at Chovar, spent the day with the children, and donated some storybooks and stationaries.

Introduction:
The project “आस्था” was a charity project initiated by Interact Club of YALA. The interactors of Interact Club Of YALA went to the orphanage named SCIF NEPAL located at Chovar. It was a service oriented project which was led by Itr. Yuhisha Maharjan as a Event Chair and Itr. Rajshree Tandukar as a Co-Event Chair.
Objectives:
1. To engage orphans by grooving them into interactive environment.
2. To provide education materials for orphan’s education betterment.
3. To promote greenery around the residence of orphans
Project summary:
Project “आस्था” was successfully conducted by the Interact Club of YALA where the interactors of Interact Club Of YALA along with Zonal Interact Representative of Zone 8 Itr. Safal Shrestha as a guest and other few non-interactors went to the orphanage. Firstly, the interactors as well as the children introduced each other followed by the children singing and dancing along with the interactors. We also played various games with them and the children showed us their drawings and the story behind the drawings. After that, we along with the children planted avocado and lemon inside the premises of the orphanage. After spending the day with the children, at the end of the day, we distributed some story books along with stationaries to the children. The environment was serene and all of the caretakers, volunteers were friendly and down-to-earth and all of us involved in the project had a wonderful and fun day.
Conclusion:
The event “आस्था” went really well. All of us were satisfied with the completion of this project. It fully met the target and benefited both club as well as community. This project encouraged the club members to continue doing more projects like this and also the new members of our club learned how the club projects are done and they realized that the club projects are real learn with FUN.
