Introduction

Club Officer Training Seminar (COTS) (Part 1) was held by Zone 7, Interact District 3292- Nepal & Bhutan on 27th August,2022 with the aim to give knowledge about what interact club actually is. The main aim of this event is to give knowledge about their duties and responsibilities as a board member, general member and propose member and provide knowledge about club meetings & its procedures and how meetings are conducted. We assemble interactors from Interact Club of Nepal Police School, Interact Club of Bhaktapur & Kavre Valley, Interact Club of Seabird, Interact Club of Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute and Interact Club of Everest Mount Valley English School in Nepal Police School. There were about a total of 120 participants.

Event Preview

The training seminar was facilitated by Itr. Jaya Magarati (Assistant Zonal Interact Representative), Itr. Simran KC (Zonal Executive), Itr. Samrat Prajapati (Government School Support Committee officer), Itr. Subin Pradhan (Community Service Committee Head) and Itr. Roz Karmacharya (ZIR). Along with seminars various fun activities were performed which made the seminar more interactive. At the end of this seminar Lisson Khadka sang a beautiful song which made the seminar unforgettable. The interactive sessions lasted for three hours, but during that time, the participants gained knowledge
about Rotary, Rotaract, Interact and the numerous skills necessary for a club to function effectively.

Event Review

In summary, COTS (Part1) we were able to successfully organize COTS for Zone 7’s clubs and provide them with all of the necessary information and skills. COTS (Part1) is for conducted only for the clubs of Bhaktapur and Kavre area. Zone 7 will be conducting COTS (part 2) soon for the clubs of Thimi area.
