Introduction:
Model United Nations is an innovative forum that builds on strength of international procedure. Dhangadhi Model United Nations (DMUN) 2.0 was held on 1st July to 3rd July. The event was organized by the Interact Club of Axis with the theme “Globalizing the world through diplomacy”. DMUN 2.0 was a project having 170 participants. The program lasted for 3 days. There were three committees UNODC, UNHRC, and DISEC. Each Committee had a huge amount of participants with different countries allocated to them. Every Committee had a Unique agenda and topic. Committees had different supervisors(chairs) to support them and for their ease in debate.
We had a substantial representation of schools from within and outside Dhangadhi. There are different committees in DMUN 2.0 with each committee it provides different insights on various topics and sectors. In DMUN 2.0 there are 3 committees. Participants represent their assigned country in one of the many UN forums including the General Assembly, the Human Rights Council, and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime among others. Through such events, participants gain an acute understanding of international affairs, foreign policies, and some of today’s most pressing issues, together with enhancing their public speaking and negotiation skills.
Objectives:
The main objective of this event was to expand on the strengths of collaboration
and public speaking while incorporating the international style focus on
content and writing. Along with that to make an actual impact on society and
the lives of people with the concept of familiarizing school students with
international norms, values, and political systems ideologies while refining
their debating and critical thinking skills.
Project summary:
DMUN2.0 was a three-day-long event and had
sessions, debates, an International style focus on content and writing, etc
followed by an Opening ceremony on day one and closing on day three.

the agendas that had been provided to them, with the chairs of the various
committees guiding them as well as the organizing committee overseeing the
event.

Day 2 was begun formally after the arrival of all the attendees and
chairs at 10 am at Balmiki International School where they discussed and
debated with very newfangled views and opinions about their respective agendas
for rest of the day which also included breaks for lunch and relaxation. They
were also entertained by the different fun sessions in order to make the
committee session livelier. Each committee had a heated debate where
participants used the research material they gathered. The day ended with a
productive, learnable, and interactive discussion.

The resolutions drafts were passed by the three committees which were
considered a major draft that disclosed the creativity, teamwork, International
