Project summary
The interactors were told to be there in front of Kathmandu Mall at 7:00 am
which was our meeting location. After all the interactors reached the meeting
location, we took a bus ride from there to Sundarijal. The collected money was
used to pay for the entrance fee. We started our hiking from 9:45 am and
returned to the bus stop at 2:30pm. In those times spent in the nature, we
painted the stone and ate our lunch sitting next to the beautiful waterfall. The
cold water flowing by the side and the bird chirping made the experience even
better. We also made sure to collect the waste materials that were thrown
near the natural resources. All the waste collected during our hiking were
thrown at the police camp dumpster that was located on the way back to our
ending location.
Feedbacks of attendees:
• Day well spent!
• The waterfall was really beautiful
• It was fun to be able to talk and interact with everyone.
Conclusion:
The event was fun and successful as it definitely helped us refresh ourselves
while also making sure that the interactors had a fun networking session. The
mutual understanding between the members increased after the event. Our
small part to help protect our environment by collecting the wastes was the
best part of the event. Although the effort was small, we do believe that it
slightly helped the environment. It helped increase the environmental
consciousness of the interactors.
