Afforestation

Introduction:
On 3rd November,2022, we conducted a plantation project named “Afforestation” where we planted 15 tree saplings. The program was conducted on Technical and Lifeskill Wing of Skyrider School. The tree saplings were sponsored by our school. This was a program conducted on World Interact Week on Day 4 theme: Environment. This is a part of Project: SARATHI
Objectives:
To maintain eco-friendly surrounding preserve our environment.
To maintain the scenic beauty and greenery on school zone.
Project Summary:
Early in the morning on 3rd October, Interact Club of Skyrider successfully planted 15 tree saplings on Skyrider School. The program was formally inaugurated at 7 am in the presence of the Principal, Mr. Madan Puri. We planted all the trees along with compost manure. The responsibility of taking care of those plants is handed to Skyrider Scout troop who will timely check on the plants. The program lasted for about 2 hours. We dug a hole on the ground, and plants different tree saplings along with compost manures.
Feedback of the Attendees:
It was slow and difficult for the students to plant trees as only one shovel was there to dig the land. However, the program went smoothly and we enjoyed along with serving the environment.
Conclusion: Total of 15 plants were planted and Skyrider Scout troop was given the responsibility to regularly water and take care of those plants. The program was conducted successfully.
Resolving Conflict Within the School

Location: Skyrider Auditorium

Number of participants: 24 interactors, 6 teachers
Area of focus: Peace and Conflict Prevention
Introduction:
On 1st November, 2022, we conducted a panel discussion on the topic Resolving Conflict Within the School on Skyrider Auditorium Hall. This program was conducted within Day-2 theme of World Interact Week, Peace and Conflict Prevention. 5 social teachers were brought to interact with the students about the ways of managing the conflict that arises inside school
Objectives:
To find the causes and prevent different types of conflicts that arises on our school
To help to maintain a peaceful environment inside a school
To learn the format of panel discussion
Project Summary:
On 1st November, after 4 oclock, we interactors and 5 different social teachers from Skyrider school met at Auditoriom. There, we maintained the decorum and started a panel discussion on the topic “Resolving Conflict Within the School”. Our principal, Mr. Madan Puri also gave us a speech on why and how a conflict starts inside the school. Then during the discussion, Medani Pokhrel Sir, Ramesh Puri Sir, Devendra Neupane Sir, Saru Timalsina Madam and Sujata Basnet Madam addressed different questions from the audiences. After about 1 hour and 45 minutes, the program was ended.
Feedback of the Attendees:
Other teachers from our school also want to take part in such types of program. Hence, we will try to do more panel discussions in the future.
Conclusion: After the program, we were able to identify the cause of conflict arising inside school. Few of the measures on solving such kinds of conflict were also discussed. The program was fruitful.
Invest in Education, Invest in Future

Introduction:
On 5th November, 2022, Interact Club of Skyrider conducted an essay writing competition on the topic “Invest in Education, Invest in Future” This was the program conducted on World Interact Week on the theme “Basic Education and Literacy”. Students from grade 8 to 10 took part in this competition.
Objectives:
To find out the talented writers on our school.
To help students realize the importance of education in life.
Project Summary:
Under the topic “Invest In Education, Invest in Future”, Interact Club of Skyrider conducted an essay writing competition where about 40 students from grade 8 to 10 took part. They were given this topic on the spot and were provided 45 minutes time where they wrote about the importance of proper education for the better future. Our School’s English teachers, Mr. Keshav Bogati and Mr. Narayan Prasad Tiwari were the judge of the competition. We provided a certificate and a cash prize to the Position holders.
Feedback of the Attendees:
The given time duration for the essay competition was a bit lesser. Since the topic was given on the spot, it was hard for some students to write properly. But this helped us to find out the finest student who can write properly without any early preparations or researches.
Conclusion: All the students gave their best efforts into writing finest essay. The position holders were released after lots of discussions. The program went well.
