An orientation session was organized with the motive of increasing the participation of the students in Interact Clubs. With this event we hope to aware students in Chelsea International Academy of Interact as well as be able to increase membership in the club.

Description

Introduction: 

Project: Sprout, a new bud is an orientation session that was introduced in order to make the students of Chelsea International Academy aware of  Interact and Rotary International. It was an effort to increase the interest of young people in community service and to make them aware of the association of Interact with Rotary. The theme of the event was membership growth. This project was done to increase the fund of the club as the membership fee from new members will bring in funds for the club.

Objectives:
•Increasing the participation of students in Interact Club’s projects. 
•Making students aware of Interact, Rotaract, and Rotary clubs.
•Sharing the benefits of joining the club.
•Making them aware of the opportunity that Interact Club provides.
•Increasing the membership of the Interact Club of Chelsea International Academy.

Project summary:

The orientation session started at 12:05 pm with the attendance of 47 newly admitted students of Chelsea International Academy. IPP, Itr. Stuti Regmi was also present there to give the new students more ideas about the Interact Club of Chelsea International Academy and Interact Club as a whole. She concluded by mentioning about the projects done in her club and how interact club is a club that give them the opportunity to participate in fun and meaningful projects while developing their leadership skills and making new friends. The session ended at 1:00 pm with President, Itr. Prashna Rai mentioning about the projects that the new tenure is planning to organize. 36 out of 47 attendees from the session joined the club increasing the total number of Interactors in the Interact Club of Chelsea International Academy to 73.

Conclusion: The project was a huge success as it exceeded our target of bringing in 20 interactors as we were able to add 36 new members in our club. All the newly joined Interactors are enthusiastic and are ready to participate and organize amazing projects in the club which will be beneficial for the community as well as the club.

I would like to express my heartfelt congratulations to Itr. Itr. Beepin Subedi and the entire team on the successful completion of a remarkable year filled with the power of selfdiscovery and exploration.

In harmony with Rotary International President Rtn. Gordon R. McInally’s theme of ‘CreateHope in the World’ and Interact District’s theme ‘Interact For Impact’, I am filled with optimismto have seen dedicated leaders embark on the noble path of service, creating a milestone impact. Every single Rotarian, Rotaractor, and Interactor is to be equally thanked and praised for how far the interact movement has come. By embracing opportunities, leading by example, and fostering fellowship, I am confident that the Interact movement has flourished magnificently, serving as a source of inspiration and cherished lifelong experiences.

The accomplishments of District 3292 in the past years have been truly inspiring and noteworthy. Through impactful service projects and active involvement, District 3292 consistently strives to make a positive difference, setting a remarkable example of what Interact stands for. Looking ahead, I firmly believe that Interact District 3292 and the entire Interact movement will continue to prosper and have profound significance.

This year, I am sure to see the same enthusiasm and leadership and its impact on the entire Interact movement. I strongly encourage all the Interactors to wholeheartedly embrace the new challenges and opportunities that await them with an open mind and a positive outlook. I urge Interact clubs to continue their tradition of excellence and strive for an even greater impact. Rotary International President of RY 2023-2024, R. Gordon R. McInally called for members to capture the world's attention and lead the way toward possibilities far beyond our current expectations.
