Introduction:
In order make the participants realise the importance o public speaking and to help them overcome the fear of mass-phobia, Interact Club Of Alliance Downtown organized a Public Speaking Training on 25th February
2023. The main aim of the program was to improve the relation with Interact Club of Oxford Secondary Schoo and Interact Club Of Pamir International Academy and to make them able to speak in-front of public with the essential techniques.
Objectives:
To Increase the confident of participants to speak in public with young trainers
To Increase the relationship between three clubs
To increase the fellowship between the interactors and non-interactors of different school
Project summary:
The program was started at 12:30 PM and was hosted by Itr.Anjal Puri. Firstly, the guests were welcomed and were called to sit in the dias. Then the opening of the program was done by putting the water on the flower vessel. And national anthem and rotary anthem were played followed by the welcome speech by event coordinator It.Siddhant Panthi and a beautiful welcome dance was presented. Then the most awaited moment came, and before the training session the introductionof the trainers was presented by Itr.Pratikshya Kharal First session was of Sandip Chhetri who is a socia activist and a media personality and active youth in different organizations including Namaste Nepal. He shared his journey in short and taught the participants the importance to involve in different organizations to improve oneself’s public . speaking. He also gave important tips like practicing by writing the main points to speak and also pointed the mistakes that is made while speaking. After the session 15 minutes break was offered for the food. Then the floor was again passed to Rtr. Barun Gyawali who is a social activist, owner of United Gift Bazar and IPP at Rotaract Club Of Lumbini Banijya Campus. He took a short time for his motivating and inspiring life journey and made the participants learn the tips and tricks to keep oneself calm while speaking in mass. Various fun games were also played in the session. After the session event coordinator gave a short speech followed by the vote of thanks by Itr. Shishil Bhandari delivered to all the guests and participants. Finally, Itr. Deepsan Adhikari Gave a short speech and concluded the session. then fellowship was done through the extra talents like poetry and songs.The program was over at around 4 PM.
Conclusion: With the collective efforts of the organizing committee, participants guests, interactors and non-interactors, we were able to successfully conduct the public speaking training with 85 participants. It was a wonderful session and met the target set for that day. Various life changing lessons were delivered by the trainers.
